Volant air intake systems utilize a high-velocity venturi filter adapter which provides a smooth transition through the MAF sensor into the intake tube for a much needed airflow improvement over the factory rubber tubing and resonator box. Volant's Cool Air box is larger than the factory unit and incorporates a larger opening to collect a higher volume of colder ambient air.

Installation is as easy as any other CAI install. No noticeable difference in any category really, but the quality is definitely better than stock plus it gives a lot longer filter life. Modern engines usually have pretty good intakes, so it's more of an anesthetic thing anyway. Only giving 4 starts instead of 5 because the image does make it look like a clear window, but it is in fact a smoked window. Great overall product though, I'm more than satisfied.
United StatesI like the idea of the intake but no noticeable difference in fuel economy sound or power. Basically purchased for the longer filter life. My one complaint is in the photo of the product the viewing window is clear so can see the filter but when received its totally dark and not able to see through defeating the purpose of actually having a viewing window. So now any time I wish to look at the filter I am required to remove this and while its easy to do it makes no sense to put a viewing window that you cant view through. I have had intakes before where the filter would come off in rougher driving and the advantage was supposed to be to be able to look and verify installed and see if clean
CanadaThe intake looks great with little to no noticeable difference in sound or performance. Only complaint I have is in the picture it shows a clear window to inspect the filter but in reality its a black dark window that cant be seen through So now need to remove any time want to inspect the filter for being clean or inspect to make sure still attached Little disappointed in that
Looks good under the hood. Only complaint is the picture shows a clear plastic viewing spot to see filter when it is not at all. It is a smoked cover that you can’t even see the filter through. So now I have to remove it every time I want to look at the filter to verify if clean and still attached. VERY MISLEADING PICTURE
