Volant air intake systems utilize a high-velocity venturi filter adapter which provides a smooth transition through the MAF sensor into the intake tube for a much needed airflow improvement over the factory rubber tubing and resonator box. Volant's Cool Air box is larger than the factory unit and incorporates a larger opening to collect a higher volume of colder ambient air.

Overall it was easy to follow the instructions. Removing the original air box was a bit tricky - clearing the 2 studs in the rear while angling it around the coolant lines in the rear and some wire harness in the front. I found it easier to take the top half of the box out first and then the bottom half. When installing the new top half of the box it doesn’t sit flush and the 3 tabs don’t all seat into the bottom box. The box is definitely warped in on that right side. Rest assured after placing the 3 screws back in I was able to close the box with some minor air gaps. Looks great, sounds awesome. Truck has more response on the throttle also.

United StatesI called...they were pretty dismissive. Tried to find current rebate link and can't for the life of me find it. The intakes are fine(this is my 3rd one) but I didn't need an air intake this time and only ordered because the deal made sense with the rebate. Customer Service - email me the link to the CURRENT rebate link and I'll delete this. For now this seems suspect like you guys want us avoiding getting the deals you push on your ads to drive sales.
