Volant air intake systems utilize a high-velocity venturi filter adapter which provides a smooth transition through the MAF sensor into the intake tube for a much needed airflow improvement over the factory rubber tubing and resonator box. Volant's Cool Air box is larger than the factory unit and incorporates a larger opening to collect a higher volume of colder ambient air.

Fit is terrible. Silicone hose cut unstraight and barely fit. Clamps are the worst quality I have ever used. Better quality from Temu parts. I had to modify the intake tube so my MAF sensor would fit. This intake is just taking up space under the hood of my truck until my K&N intake shows up. Do not waste your money with this company. Their product is junk along with their customer service. I had to cut the airbox to make it fit as well. Worst money I have ever spent.
United StatesA PIA to install. Nothing in the instructions mentioned having to reposition a harness and a fuse box. On top of that only one of mounting holes in the air box matched up with a location under the hood. My complaint isn't with the overall quality of the air box, it's with having to fight with the installation. Maybe it's time to revisit the shape of the box.
United StatesI have put on alot of Cai before and this was the worst one I've ever dealt with and for one the box itself does not go into put like it's supposed to and will not bolt down like it says and for the scoop that I bought for another $134 was a waste cause my tire scrubs it was I turn to the right, so I took a chance and bought a system I've never dealt with and it bit me in the ***. Not worth the money and headache
