Volant air intake systems utilize a high-velocity venturi filter adapter which provides a smooth transition through the MAF sensor into the intake tube for a much needed airflow improvement over the factory rubber tubing and resonator box. Volant's Cool Air box is larger than the factory unit and incorporates a larger opening to collect a higher volume of colder ambient air.
This model includes a MaxFlow 5 Oiled Filter for improved performance with the comfort of oiled filtration technology for those looking for horsepower.

United StatesThis intake cleans up the engine bay for sure! Gives more of a throaty tone to the engine. However the reason for 4 stars and not five is the way it mounts in the engine bay. One plastic clip and the bolt provided isn't long enough to actually mount the intake. A longer bolt works, but even then its almost impossible to get your hand in to tighten it. Other than that its great!
United StatesItem was as described it’s a nice cool air intake for my 2011 gmc canyon 5.3v8 it was a nice tight fit and I had a nice cosmetic appeal and a great sound.
United StatesQuality is perfect, took forever to try and fit the bolt that holds the box. The bolt was to short. Had to buy a slightly longer one for easy installation. Aside from that, I love it.

United StatesMy options were limited for my vehicle. I decided to go with volant. The ship time was alil long, but was within the 30 day window. When I recieved it, the box was somewhat damaged from shipping, but the inside was lined nicely with protection, and all the pieces were undamaged. Installation was simple and the truck seems to run smoother now. Overall I'm happy with my purchase and would order from them again.
