Volant air intake systems utilize a high-velocity venturi filter adapter which provides a smooth transition through the MAF sensor into the intake tube for a much needed airflow improvement over the factory rubber tubing and resonator box. Volant's Cool Air box is larger than the factory unit and incorporates a larger opening to collect a higher volume of colder ambient air.

Overall, I am happy, but I have two suggestions for improvement... 1) It looks nice, but when the product description says that it's a clear cover so you could see the condition of the filter, it is not clear, and you can barely see the filter at all. It's a dark smoky cover, but clear would be great. 2) The tube that mounts on the bottom of the box is preformed or shaped, and unless one can raise the car up and remove everything from the bottom of the car to work on it, this is a waste. I am an old man, I couldn't do that and have no lift, so what I did was trim off a little a time until it would actually fit. In the end, the molded tube you sent me that was 10 or 12 inches long, is not about 4 inches long. Might I suggest that you give a flex tube, a corrugated or bellows shaped tube so that it can better extend into the cavity below the airbox. Other than that, I love the way the car sounds with this new addition. My 5.7 hemi seems to growl now when i step on it. Makes me smile every time.
